How to Use the Heart Rate Calculator

Find optimal training zones:

  1. Enter Age: Current age in years.
  2. Resting HR: Measure pulse at rest (morning, before getting up). Count 15 seconds x 4.

Training Zones: Zone 1 (50-60%): Recovery. Zone 2 (60-70%): Fat burning. Zone 3 (70-80%): Aerobic fitness. Zone 4 (80-90%): Performance. Zone 5 (90-100%): Maximum effort.
